My wisdom tooth pain is still killing me this week. Last week, it was on the right side. This week, the pain switched to my left!! (AND MULTIPLIED!) Many mushy recipes are in the future! 😉
Today, I’d like to share with you a tea I’ve been drinking regularly these past couple weeks. It’s a healing blend of common spices that provides pain relief and promotes healing. Even if you aren’t in the excruciating stages of teeth-cutting that I am, this tea is still delicious! (Though, you might want to cut back on the insane amount of cloves. Lol)
‘Wisdumb’ Tooth Pain Relief Tea
Makes 4-5 Cups
- 1-4 tablespoons whole cloves (Depending on the amount of discomfort. Cloves are the magic ingredient to really numb the pain!)
- 2 Ceylon cinnamon sticks (Provides pain relief and tastes delicious!)
- 6-8 slices of fresh, organic ginger root (Another powerful, all-natural pain reliever!)
- Local honey to taste
- 4-5 cups filtered water
Bring the water just to a boil in a kettle or saucepan. While you wait, slice the ginger root thinly. Add the ginger and all other ingredients to your teapot. Add the hot water and steep for 20 minutes or so. Filter and enjoy! Now, stop looking at food blogs until you can chew again!!! Or is that just me?
If you have any holistic, pain relief remedies (especially for tooth pain!) please send them my way!
